Date: 27th July 2025 Venue: Army Battle Honour Mess, New Delhi Occasion: Kargil Vijay Diwas & Op Sindoor 🕊️ A tribute ride organized by SHOR Foundation to honour the valor of our fallen heroes—from those who fought in 1999 to those we lost in recent terror incidents. ABOUT OPERATION SINDOOR In April 2025, terrorists attacked innocent tourists in Pahalgam, resulting in the deaths of 26 civilians. In a strong and targeted retaliation on 7 May 2025, the Indian Armed Forces launched Operation Sindoor, striking nine terrorist camps across Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. That operation—named after the vermilion (“sindoor”) symbolizing the grief of the widows—aimed to dismantle terror infrastructure and deliver justice to families of the victims. Why it matters for our ride: It’s a reminder that remembrance doesn’t end with Kargil. Terror continues, and so does our collective commitment. Connecting generations—from the bravery of Kargil heroes to contemporary sacrifices—reinforces youth awareness. Emphasizes that patriotism means vigilance, resilience, and unity in the face of evolving threats.
